Grandad was a very special person. He was really warm & loving, which he'd show this by the hugs he'd give, how he'd call me 'my dear', sign his cards with 'tons of love' & always take an interest. He was a real gentleman - always looking smart & handsome, always being polite & kind. He had an amazing youthfulness, both in the amount of energy he had & in his sense of fun. It's great to have recent memories of him joking & playing with Isaac & Asher. I will really miss seeing him but I know I'm lucky to have so many happy memories with him. From summers spent playing in his garden as a child to interesting trips with Sid to then bringing my own children to his home. I will miss him but will always have my memories of him in the way he lived his life & in the fun we had together.
